For more than a decade, Mr. McPherson has provided counsel and trial advocacy to health care providers and insurance companies on a broad range of issues, including medical malpractice litigation, health law, state and federal privacy laws (HIPAA), civil rights, insurance coverage and product liability. Mr. McPherson focuses his practice on appellate advocacy, complex legal research and analysis, critical motions practice and health law. Over the years, he has achieved dismissal or summary judgment before trial in countless cases.
Mr. McPherson has successfully represented clients in Connecticut state and federal courts; the Connecticut Appellate and Supreme Courts; the Second Circuit Court of Appeals; and the Supreme Court of the United States.
While in law school, Mr. McPherson was also the Editor-in-Chief of the Quinnipiac Health Law Journal and received the Distinguished Academic Achievement Award for Legal Skills and the Outstanding Legal Scholarship Award.
Prior to joining DANAHERLAGNESE, PC in 2004, Mr. McPherson was an associate attorney with a prominent Norwich law firm, where he concentrated his practice on municipal law and real estate matters.
