Ms. Vautour represents doctors, nurses and hospitals in all phases of civil litigation, including motion practice, discovery, hearings, mediation, trial and appeals. Her practice focuses on defending health care providers in a variety of medical specialties, including cardiology, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, pediatrics and internal medicine. Ms. Vautour also has experience defending toxic tort claims and claims arising out of motor vehicle incidents. Ms. Vautour appears regularly in Connecticut state court and is admitted to practice in federal court.
In addition, Ms. Vautour has spent considerable time advising and educating health care clients across the country on risk mitigation and patient safety issues. She has worked with all specialties in devising educational curriculums to implement in their respective organizations. In addition, Ms. Vautour has been an invited speaker at a number of national and regional conferences and enjoys the opportunity to help the health care community better understand the medico-legal dynamics that impact their clinical practice.
