Andrew S. Wildstein



Mr. Wildstein has extensive experience in complex civil litigation, primarily in the areas of medical malpractice defense, as well as in product liability and premises liability. He has been continuously representing the interests of Connecticut health care providers since 1997. Mr. Wildstein’s current practice focuses on defending physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses and medical institutions in various medical specialties including cardiology, emergency medicine, internal medicine, psychiatry, radiology, surgery, anesthesia, geriatric and nursing home care. He has an active trial practice and has successfully litigated multiple jury trials and binding arbitrations on behalf of health care providers. Mr. Wildstein also represents physicians, dentists and nurses in licensing matters before the Connecticut Department of Public Health. He is also called on regularly to represent health care providers when subpoenaed as expert and fact witnesses in criminal, civil and family matters. Mr. Wildstein is also a member of the DanaherLagnese team dedicated to defending the rights of families in Connecticut who need assistance in navigating the complexities of education law and disability law.

Mr. Wildstein is frequently invited to lecture to medical professionals on risk management, best practices and developments in the law and has done so at Hartford Hospital on numerous occasions.

While in law school, Mr. Wildstein was on the staff of the Hofstra Labor Law Journal and was the Notes and Comments Editor for the Environmental Law Digest.
