Biography

Mr. Garofalo practices civil litigation with an emphasis on medical malpractice defense. Prior to joining DANAHERLAGNESE, PC, he worked as staff counsel for an insurance company where his practice was focused on the defense of personal injury lawsuits. Mr. Garofalo has experience in all phases of litigation, including discovery and trial.

Mr. Garofalo graduated from the University of New Haven in 2010 with a bachelor’s of science, cum laude, in sports management. He then attended Roger Williams University School and earned his juris doctorate, cum laude, in 2013. While at law school, Mr. Garofalo was awarded the Professor Esther Clark Endowed Scholarship for academic excellence. He also received CALI Awards for Academic Excellence in Legal Methods I, Health Law & Policy, Trial Advocacy and Contracts Drafting. Mr. Garofalo also had the opportunity to intern with a United States Magistrate Judge for the District of Rhode Island as well as with the Rhode Island Board of Medical Licensure and Discipline.
