Ms. Noble is a proud “Double Eagle,” having attended both Boston College (BA 1990) and Boston College Law School (J.D. 1993. Ms. Noble is admitted to practice in the State Court of Connecticut and State Court of New York (currently inactive), as well as in the U.S. District Court, District of Connecticut.
Ms. Noble has over 20 years of experience in defending medical professionals in medical malpractice lawsuits and administrative hearings. In addition to medical malpractice work, Ms. Noble has also been involved in the defense of products liability and general liability cases over the course of her career. She has tried multiple cases in numerous venues and vigorously defends her clients in all aspects of litigation, mediations and arbitrations. She has represented physicians, nurses, hospitals and other health care providers from all over the state in a variety of medical specialties including emergency medicine, clinical laboratory operations, anesthesiology, internal medicine, urology, plastic surgery, pediatrics, general surgery and radiology. However, she has particular interest and expertise in cases involving obstetrics and gynecology and has spent most of her career in defense of this area of medicine. Ms. Noble has tried and/or second chaired several ob-gyn cases to verdict, including those involving claims of brain injury, gynecologic surgery complications and shoulder dystocia/brachial plexus injuries. She has significant experience with cases involving fetal monitor tracings, high risk pregnancy issues such as pre-eclampsia, eclampsia, multiple gestations, gestational diabetes, cord prolapse and labor and delivery claims, as well as cervical cancer, breast cancer and pregnancy termination.
Most of Ms. Noble’s work has involved claims of catastrophic injuries and losses, and she is passionate about developing strategies to address these types of damages, including the use of structure settlement experts and the application of the Affordable Care Act and/or Medicaid to address plaintiffs’ exorbitant life care plans.
In addition to her significant litigation experience, Ms. Noble has represented physicians and nurses in administrative investigations and hearings conducted by the Department of Public Health. She is also regularly asked by clients and institutions to lecture to health care providers in a variety of specialties and levels on issues involving risk management.
In 2013, Ms. Noble was selected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Connecticut Defense Lawyers Association, and in 2014, was elected to become an Officer of this organization. She is also very active in her local and regional community, teaching catechism in her parish, participating at her school alumni organization and serving as the Chair of the PTO Room Representative Committee for several years.
