Biography

Mr. Neal’s practice is concentrated on civil defense litigation, including complex personal injury and property damage toxic tort, product liability, medical malpractice, construction, insurance and litigation management.

Mr. Neal has extensive lead counsel trial experience in state and federal courts in the jurisdictions of Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New York, Pennsylvania, District of Columbia, Maryland and Florida. He was lead counsel for major defendants in three of the largest mass tort consolidated trials and one of the largest sick building trials that have been tried to conclusion in the United States, all with favorable results for the clients.

Mr. Neal was appointed by the Governor of Rhode Island to serve two terms on the Commission On Judicial Tenure and Discipline (1975-1984) and was a Probate Judge of the City of East Providence, Rhode Island (1978-1980).
