Donna has focused on the defense of medical malpractice cases for more than twenty-five years. She began as counsel for the Aetna Insurance Company, working for the Subspecialty Division devoted to medical malpractice cases involving brain injury, then left corporate work for the courtroom, serving as one of the litigators for the St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company, defending physicians and other health care providers in high exposure cases. Before joining DanaherLagnese, PC, Donna was a partner at a small litigation firm in Hartford that limited its practice to the defense of healthcare providers and facilities.
Donna received her undergraduate degree from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut, and her law degree from the University of Connecticut School of Law, with honors. Subsequently, she spent a sabbatical year at the Yale Medical School (didactic portion of Physician Assistant Program) to enhance her ability to defend cases with additional knowledge and creativity.
