Ms. Waltman is a trial and appellate attorney whose practice includes medical malpractice defense, insurance coverage, insurance defense and appellate advocacy. She is admitted to practice before the state and federal courts of Connecticut.
Ms. Waltman appears regularly in court and is experienced in all phases of litigation, from initial case evaluation through discovery, dispositive motions, trial preparation, trial, post-verdict motions and appeal.
Ms. Waltman graduated from the University of Connecticut in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology, Summa Cum Laude, with Honor’s Program distinction. She was a member of Phi Beta Kappa and a two-time recipient of the Scholar’s Award for Academic Achievement. Ms. Waltman continued her education at the University of Connecticut School of Law, graduating in 1998. While in law school, she served as Symposium Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal and President of the Connecticut Client Advocacy Board.
