Biography

Ms. Koss is an associate at the firm’s Hartford office, practicing civil litigation with an emphasis on medical malpractice defense. Prior to joining DANAHERLAGNESE, Ms. Koss worked in acute care hospitals as a Registered Nurse. Her clinical background includes adult, pediatric, and neonatal critical care nursing, along with ground transport. Ms. Koss also worked administratively in leadership, documentation, and as the Director of Risk Management. During this she was involved in several professional organizations, obtained multiple certifications including CCRN, CNML and CPHRM, and presented at local and national conferences.

Ms. Koss graduated from the University of Saint Joseph with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and from Eastern Connecticut State University with a master’s in science in Organizational Management. She earned her Juris Doctorate with a Healthcare Concentration from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.  Ms. Koss also simultaneously completed a Healthcare Compliance Certificate from the Quinnipiac School of Business & School of Law. Ms. Koss earned distinguished awards for Academic Achievement in Bioethics, Anatomy for Lawyers, and Healthcare Antitrust Law.
