Mr. Kiley’s practice is focused on Medical Malpractice defense and Civil Trial Practice.
Mr. Kiley has been defending health care providers in medical malpractice cases for over thirty years. He has tried over fifty medical malpractice cases to verdict and defended many personal injury actions. Mr. Kiley has represented hospitals throughout the State of Connecticut and has represented physicians, advanced practice nurses, registered nurses and other health care providers in almost every medical specialty, including Emergency Medicine, General Surgery, Radiology, Neurosurgery, Anesthesiology, Primary Medicine, Neurology, Hematology/Oncology, Rheumatology, Urology, Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Neonatology, Vascular Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Hospital Medicine, Geriatrics and Nursing.
Mr. Kiley regularly lectures to young lawyers on conducting and defending depositions. He has served as a mock trial and moot court judge at the University Of Connecticut School of Law and he has presented mock trials to state hospitals. He lectures regularly to medical doctors, residents, nurses and other health care providers and administrators on risk management issues.
